Music and Community Connection
In collaboration with the LHC Music Department, students visit Regis Aged Care in Bulimba twice each
term to perform vocal and instrumental pieces for residents. These performances bring joy, comfort and
companionship, while giving students an opportunity to share their talents in a meaningful and
heart‑centred way.
Across all outreach programs, students grow in empathy, gratitude and awareness. They learn that
service is not only about giving — it is about listening, being present, and recognising the face of Christ in
every person they meet. This is the heart of a Lourdes Hill education, grounded in the values of the Good
Samaritan and the Benedictine call to community, hospitality and justice.
