Junior School Assessment Policy
Were you away for
your exam?
Were you away for your
assignment due date?
Do you need an extension for
your assignment?
Parents/Caregivers need to
communicate via email with
the Head of Junior School
(juniorschool@lhc.qld.edu.au) to
arrange an alternate time to sit
your exam. This communication
should happen on the day of your
absence if possible.
If possible, submit your
assignment electronically via
Student Café or email to your
teacher.
Or
Deliver your assignment to
student reception.
Or
If you were unable to submit while
absent, ensure your assignment
is submitted on the 昀椀rst day you
return to school.
Parent/Caregivers email your
class teacher explaining your
need for an extension. Include
how much extra time you need
and a copy of the progress you
have made so far. Unless there
are extenuating circumstances,
applications should be received
no later than 2 days prior to the
due date.
Be ready to sit the exam at the
arranged time.
Your class teacher will respond to
your email with a new due date.
Parents/Caregivers will be CC’d
into this email.
