Grounds
Students are to remain on the school property from the
time they arrive until the time they leave the premises
for the day. They are not permitted to utilise meal delivery
services, go to local shops, return to their cars or have
visitors or friends call or visit them during the school day.
All visitors must report of昀椀cially to the Main Reception.
Aerosols
Aerosol deodorants, body sprays and perfumes are not
permitted to be used on College Grounds.
Mobile Phone Guidelines
• Junior school students must hand in any mobile phone
to the class teacher each morning to be securely
stored in a locked box in the classroom. Mobile phones
must be switched off when handed in.
• All phone calls, especially urgent calls, regarding
sickness/illness, MUST be made by students through
Student Reception.
• Mobile phones must not be used in any manner
or place that is disruptive to the normal routine of
school, or to access the internet or send harassing or
threatening messages to others.
• Phone cameras are not to be used in the College
grounds especially anywhere a normal camera would
be considered inappropriate. They are not to be used
during school hours.
• Appropriate action will be taken against any student
who photographs or 昀椀lms other individuals without
their consent or who sends harassing or threatening
messages, or uses a mobile phone during exams.
• Students uploading photographs or videos onto social
media sites of either students in College uniform and/
or on the College grounds is a breach of the College
Digital Guidelines Policy.
• Students texting or emailing inappropriate
photographs are in breach of the College Guidelines
and Policies.

• Wearable technology must not be worn during any
written or spoken assessment activity, both formative
and summative.
• Wearable technology use will be regarded in the same
way as personal mobile devices. Wearable technology
can include, but is not limited to, smart watches,
air pods, 昀椀tness trackers and other devices that
have potential to communicate and access mobile
technologies in the same way as a mobile phone.
• Airpods or similar devices are regarded as personal
devices and should be locked in lockers as per policy
guidelines unless directed by a teacher.
Parent Lounge
Parent Lounge is our online portal for parents which
gives you access to the contact details for your student’s
teachers, feedback on assesment, their reports, the online
College calendar and the ability for you to update your
contact details as and when changes arise. Parent Lounge
is accessed through My LHC on the College website.
All Students
• Students may not use mobile phones and other
personal electronic devices while on school grounds
at any time. ‘School grounds’ extends to school
excursions, sports carnivals and other events at the
school or off site where an approved school activity
takes place unless otherwise advised.
• Mobile phones are to be ‘off and away all day’ in
lockers (Years 7-12), from the time students enter
school grounds in the morning until they are in the
designated bus line area or have left school grounds at
3:00pm. This includes before school or pick-up and at
break times.
Wearable Technology – All Students
• Wearable technology including smart watches that are
worn in lessons or in public areas around the school
